I am always so excited for every project I work on, both with clients and independently. However, when you gather a group of professional creatives together in one beautiful location it is truly amazing to watch the magic that happens!
Last month I had the opportunity to partner with not one, but 3 other amazing photographers and personal friends who all worked together to plan a styled wedding event that reflected all of our styles.
The Veranda is a newly opened wedding venue located in Harrisburg, SD behind the Meadow barn at country orchards. The venue provides a rustic feel and look, with modern industrial touches. This space provides a seamless indoor to outdoor transition with an open floor plan and one wall completely exposing the outdoor ceremony space.
On your way to the ceremony space, you walk past a cozy fire pit seating area. An adorable wooden bridge carries you over a beautiful waterfall feature and pond, and finally you take a seat in front of a rustic wedding arch, and admire the beautiful midwest views behind it. This venue is the perfect all-in-one location for a dream wedding, with a high end feel.
A wedding doesn’t truly come together without a crew of amazing vendors to bring the perfect details to life. With amazing hand made florals, one of a kind vintage furniture, perfectly coordinated decor and beautiful stationary, suddenly a space becomes alive.
Of course no styled shoot would be complete without a couple of gorgeous models. Our models stuck it out with us for an entire day of styling, posing and lots of laughs of course! Beautiful people, amazing dresses, sophisticated suits, and professional hair and makeup- definitely a photographers dream.
I am in such gratitude to every single person who had a hand in making this day happen, and it would not have been as wonderful as it was without each personal touch.
